Our Story
Rainbow Lodge sits on the shore at Birch Island, on the lands of the Whitefish River First Nation — a quiet stretch of water in the heart of the North Channel. Mornings start with mist on the lake and end around the firepit.
Stay your way: the historic Main Lodge anchors the property with a master bedroom with King Bed, and second bedroom with two Queens, a full commercial kitchen, air conditioning, and a waterfront deck, comfortably sleeping six. Both Cabins and lodge include a private Blackstone Grill with Airfyers built-in. — a welcoming gathering place for retreats, reunions, and weddings. Ask for Pricing Details!
Alongside it, two private cabins each offer two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a sitting area, and their own deck overlooking the water, sleeping up to four. Guests come for the fishing and paddling, for community and family gatherings, or simply for a few unhurried days by the water.
We welcome visitors with respect for the land and the community that calls it home. Rainbow Lodge is open seasonally, from May through October.
